This little fluff ball was definitely my fave puppy to photograph, he just had the most adorable, smiley face and that cute little tongue poking out! I just had to take him out on his own and get a couple shots.
So here it is, my first Tortoise Tales with the mini home studio, how cute?? I've not been feeling the creative flow with Tortoise Tales recently. This was actually my second idea after the first one didn't come out the way I had hoped. I still feel like I could have done this better, I feel like something may be missing...cute pair of reading glasses maybe? I'm thinking that I'm going to need to search and invest in some more props to get it right.
I've had the idea of creating a mini studio for so, so long and I'm extremely glad to have started putting it all together now. It's very simple, I was only looking out for a small fold up table and some backgrounds. I wanted it mainly for Tortoise Tales, something portable but big enough to create set ups. That way I can set up anywhere and make more exciting images. I did also think it would get me photographing Oliver more as he's an indoor cat and my room isn't the tidiest! I have a large portable studio set up, with lights, but unfortunately don't have the room for it at the moment.
The photo of Oliver above was my first trial. Wood patterned wallpaper and just a white wall. I have many patterned papers now that I'm waiting to try out although, for backgrounds I want mainly plain colours which I've not been able to find many of yet.
Hope you enjoy the new photos to come :)
My blog is for updates and a little behind the scenes info on my current projects and activities.
